A Nordic Christmas Tale is a Christmas album in the classic sense of the word, yet it is also a story. It is a cohesive musical journey that leads the listener from the dense darkness of a Nordic winter morning to the light and warmth of the Christmas celebration. At the same time, it is an inner journey through our memories and our ideas of what Christmas has meant to us—and what it could be.
BRassUnit
BrassUnit was born from a shared passion for music and ensemble playing. Their initial collaboration took the form of a graduation concert project in the autumn of 2020, marking the beginning of an ensemble that has since evolved both musically and artistically.
Arvid Eriksson
The Swedish baritone Arvid Eriksson has established himself as a distinguished concert singer with a distinctive profile in the fields of oratorio, concert and art song. In his artistry, he combines musical sensitivity and a strong interest in text and poetry with a personal and expressive approach to interpretation.
